WHAT HAPPENED?
The Netherlands international has had an underwhelming start to his journey in England since moving from Bologna this summer and has managed to score just three goals across all competitions and started in only five Premier League games. Zirkzee's poor form has led to January exit links and some at United questioning if they have made a mistake signing him.

The 23-year-old, who had a terrific outing with Bologna last season and played an important role in the Serie A side securing a Champions League slot, has been closely linked with a move back to Italy where he could reunite with his former coach Thiago Motta at Juventus. Addressing the transfer rumours, Juventus chief Giuntoli opened up on their transfer strategy and whether they are planning to sign the United outcast in January.

Speaking to , Giuntoli said: "Zirkzee in January? We are waiting for Milik. I can just say that Zirkzee is a very good player but he’s under contract at Man United. I can’t add more now, we’re focusing on completely different things now."
